1 in 4 households in Ottawa struggle with food insecurity. The city’s Muslim community of 145,000 faces limited access to culturally appropriate food aid, with very few options available for those unable to leave their homes.

HCI’s Local Response

For 45 years, HCI has served Ottawa. Now, we’re launching a food bank to meet growing needs. We are offering food, support, and sustainable solutions to break the cycle of hunger.

  • Deliver to homebound individuals with no other options
  • Offer workshops to build long-term financial stability
