10 BLESSED DAYS

Gaza Wash

Gaza Water Crisis

The Gaza Strip is experiencing an unprecedented water crisis. Over 90% of Gaza’s water is contaminated. Damaged infrastructure has left families surviving on less than 2L per person/day, putting children and the elderly at risk of dehydration and disease. That’s barely enough to drink, and only a fraction of the 15L recommended by the World Health Organization to meet basic daily needs like cooking and hygiene.

HCI’s Response

Human Concern International is delivering 6L of clean water/day to 50,000 displaced people in:
  • Khan Younis (Al-Mawasi) – including HCI’s tent camp
  • Middle Area – Deir al-Balah, Nuseirat, Bureij, Maghazi, Az-Zawayda
With local partners and youth volunteers, water reaches tents, shelters, and schools daily.

Water is life. Be the reason a child in Gaza drinks clean water today.
